PC crashes under heavy load

Hello

I’ve been trying to get help from other forums but no luck so far!

For the last three months my computer has been freezing after about 20 minutes of gaming (heavy load). Before it happens, for a minute or so, micro stutters appear. When the crash happens the system freezes (ping goes up but wind and other game elements still move for 3 seconds or so), the monitor also freezes, and system becomes unresponsive (CtrlAltDel or any other combinations don’t work) but doesn’t power off (RGB is still lit and the fans keep spinning). If after that I want to use the PC again I have to manually force shutdown with the power button on the case.

This still happens in clean boot so it isn’t a software fault (in addition, to prove that, I have completely formatted the M.2 SSD with a new Windows install, updated drivers and BIOS.

Computer's RAM is brand new (about a week old), CPU temp while gaming is under 60C, GPU temp. under 70C, and for the M.2 SSD CrystalDiskInfo says healthy 96%.

How can I determine the faulty component and what should I give as an explanation for warranty (all have about half a year left) ?

Can it be a GPU/PSU issue?

Specs:
CPU- r5 2600 (w stock cooler)
GPU- MSI gtx1660ti VentusXS
RAM- 2×8gb XLR8 3200mhz 16cl
MOBO- AsRock B450M pro4
PSU- EVGA 600br
Case fans- 3 for intake, 2 for outtake

All parts except RAM are 1.5 years old!

I ran Heaven Benchmark (on extreme settings) to check the temp. again (today is a bit hotter outside so the temp. are higher)

To not risk not getting the footage I split it into three parts (actlly 4 but the last one doesn't let me save after the crash occurred):

This time after the crash the screen turned black and after restarting it didn't want to boot up correctly, had to press the restart button once again.

Maybe it can help to uncover something!

Others have suggested that the problem lies in the power supply!Just wanting to make sure before buying anything!

Possibly. The videos show your GPU power consumption redlining. It's possible you have some failed(ing) capacitors on the GPU that are causing the freeze. Please borrow another video card if possible and try that and see if it still freezes. I don't want to send you out to buy things you don't need. Can you use onboard video to check it?

No, but the thing with this things warranty is that if it's not found faulty they will just send it back!

Idk if that might have been the reason (to redline) but I was running Heavenbenchmark on Extreme settings!

I also tried playing less needing games (fall guys etc.) and the system didn't crash. (Power consumption didn't go over 70%)

But can the CPU definitely be crossed out?

psu's are fickle things, i have had several in the past where one used to just shutdown as soon as the gpu and cpu power spiked, another caused crashing and then powering down due to power draw, it is a classic sign of a psu issue.

I don't know exactly how much power in total your PC uses (Remember that it's included another components like your monitor)
If your power supply is not certified or is not good enough, that could be indeed a possibility

Besides the power supply the other cause in my opinion could be the GPU itself
