    PC: Can't sign in on xbox app, microsoft store, or game bar.


    I have run through all the troubleshooting options at this point and don't know what else to do. When I try to log in, I get "You need internet for this". The internet connection is working fine so I don't understand the issue. I can log in with no problems on a web browser. Any suggestions?

    Also everything was working perfectly fine 2 days ago.

    Please try to follow these steps. Make sure to close any games and applications before proceeding.

    Ensure that you are on the most recent version/update of the Xbox app and the Game Bar App

    Microsoft Store app > Downloads > Get updates/Update all

    Ensure that you have updated your PC to the most recent version of Windows, including optional updates

    PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates > Install

    Sign Out of Your Accounts (Xbox App and Microsoft Store App):

    Open the Microsoft Store by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Microsoft Store, and selecting App Settings.

    Click on Repair and then Reset the app.

    Repeat the same process for the Xbox App and Game Bar App

    Restart Your Device:

    After repairing and resetting both apps, restart your device.

    Sign back into both the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store using the same email.

    Go to Windows Update and check for updates, install everything including additional/optional updates

    Then press the Windows Button then type Services.

    Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

    Then select Run as Administrator

    Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

    IP Helper

    Xbox Live Auth Manager,

    Xbox Live Game Save,

    Xbox Live Networking Service.

    Do this with each of the services listed above.

    Right-click over the service and select Properties.

    Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

    If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

    Click Apply and OK to save changes.

    Restart your PC to apply updates and try again.

    Hello Dumpsterfire222, where you're trying to install the game on your PC, make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed it works in conjunction with the Xbox App.

    If you can't install through the App, sign in with the same account that purchased the game from the Microsoft Store App, then click library and then "Games" and search for the game, you can also search the search bar.
