    I'm sincerely sorry to hear about the PBS app not being available. I can certainly see how this could be frustrating. At this time, the only information that I can provide is what is displayed on the
    status page for the PBS app.

    I would suggest keeping an eye on the
    Xbox Live Status page    , as that is the best place to get updates.

    September is here - and still, not a single update about the situation with the PBS app. Still the same message on the Xbox Live Status page.

    Please Xbox Live team - just cut us a break and tell us if the app is going to be down for an (even more) extended period of time while the app is totally recoded, or just let us know if its simply unavailable for other reasons. Stringing the former users
    of this app along like this is really unfair.

    I contacted MS support (via steps on the Troubleshoot PBS page) to get a clearer status or even a ballpark ETU on the issue with no luck; But I was told to contact the PBS developer with my concerns. It would be nice if the service that I pay for (XBox
    Live Gold) would contact the developer; I mean what kind of useful information can an end user give them? It's obviously not an end user issue.
