    I signed up in literally 1 min, added my Visa Amazon Rewards card i use on the internets, and my billing address, and BOOM $50 for $30 on Newegg.

    Unable to sign up for Live Family Gold using Paypal

    make sure all your Paypal billing information matches your Xbox LIVE account information.

    this includes your paypal account's billing and xbox lives' BILLING address are the same this INCLUDES the region

    If you visit account.microsoft.com and click on Payments & Billing and select Payment Options, then you should be able to add your PayPal account as a method of purchase. From there, you should be able to purchase items using that option. Let us know if

    List of people with this error: "Your payment instrument could not be authorized. Please contact your provider, or try a different payment option."

    Btw you should always check the Xbox server status as they will mention issues with billing if it's occurring server wide

    Btw op since its occurring with different payment options question are the Creditcards on PayPal or direct ms billing ? If direct billing and PayPal isn't working then it is a fraudulent lock on ms's side you will need to talk to billing support to get it removed
    If they are all going thru PayPal then talk to PayPal and see if there is a billing or fraud lock

    I'd get on to PayPal. Regardless of who billed what, the money came from PayPal. PayPal are way more helpful then MS support.

    you need something for the paypal to bill

    creditcard or a verified bankcard

    and the paypal account MUST have a positive balance
