    Last night my gold subscription ran out, i tried to purchase a new gold membership and it didn't proceed, after that i tried to purchase again as the first time didn't work. Then i checked this morning to see if it worked and it's charged me £6 twice, although
    i didn't want to pay for gold twice.

    Xbox Live Gold Subscription Issue

    I can see here it says my payment option with that subscription is not valid, which is odd since I've been buying Gold with it since I got my XB1, furthermore, I have a recurring EA Access subscription with that exact card.

    You show as being a gold member, I wonder if the system just needed some time to update things. Can you try again to get on LIVE and let us know how it goes? Other then that, you will need to contact phone support to work this out.

    when ever I try to download the free Xbox360 games it says to add a payment option I don't like using my card online and what sucks is that the game was free in the store I cant even use Xbox Gift cards to download them

    Till now there is no news regarding an eventual change in the method of payment regarding xbox live subscription and the only valid method remains the credit card. Although even other gamers are requiring to change method and you can join them with a vote

    Yet you can still avail of the xbox live membership through prepaid gold cards purchased by the third party providers.
