Paying for X-box live but no funtionality or access for de kids

Does anybody know a proper guideline how to set-up the security setting to enable X-box live for games to work?

How are the apps/functionality shared between parents and kids on the same device?

Only thing which works with one-button click is the start automatic payments. The products do never work (don't buy).

This is really unfair. I hope x box have a way to proof they are not treating kids unfairly because of fraudulent reports from other kids. X box live is not a free service and as a faithful paying customer, I have the right to know exactly why I am not
having access to a feature of a service I paid for.

If this is on the One, make sure you have the console set as your Home console - My Home Xbox Setting on Xbox One | Share Your Xbox One

If it's the 360, you would need a gold subscription for each account.

Iv gone into the kids accounts and their X BOX Live status is still saying purchase at £6.99 a month each.

Im honeslty after days of this loosing the will to live.

I have paid £49.99 for a years live subscrition, the only way the kids can access it is if they play under my user name which defeats the object and parent controls I need to have in place.
