Pay to change Xbox live gamertag, in unsupported region

Hello

Do you live in an unsupported region or have you made any account changes recently?

I can't really change my payment address and i live in an unsupported region that doesn't show up when i change my xbox region. I live in Malaysia and i changed my vpn, my store region to Singapore yet i can't do anything since I don't have a billing address in Singapore

-you cannot link the xbox one to your live gamertag to use the marketplace, when this is linked to a billing address of an unsupported region. Strangely microsoft has detatched the currency, not the billing address. So you can pay in euros and set the locale
to a supported country, but you cannot use the billing connected to your live account...??

-you can only buy games online or shops of supported countries, sounds like a kind of region locking...nice for all those shops in unsupported countries

-you can only use currency of a supported countries

-in some cases (apps etc) your ip address will be used, possibly causing blocking, when you are in an unsupported country

- transaction in the marketplace require a Live account, and again a problem when this is attached to a billing address

-support is all based on the country of your oive account, so forget support in an unsupported country...

-video and music cannot be bought by credit card that is billed in an unsupported country

-smart glass uses the location set in the device where it is installed, NICE..no smart glass support in unsupported countries!

Microsoft, why the hell did you block locale based payment like a credit card?? How do you advise users outside supported countries to use their gamertag, when it is connected to a live account and so to a billing address?? What about payment like pay pal?
Sounds all extremely stupid and big brother like to me..

What region did you change to an unsupported region if so that would be the warnings you got when using the tool

You aren't supposed to use it to migrate to an unsupported region

The problem is that xbox live isn't supported in Malaysia and if you migrate an account to an unsupported region any in that region unsupported features likely not work anymore like mentioned here:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

The charging for xbox live gold when it isn't available does seem strange and I do advise contacting Xbox Support again for that issue. Xbox Support are the only ones capable of handling refund requests, nobody can help here in the forums.

Regarding the level 1 which is shown on your gamercard in the forums, this isn't your xbox live gold tenure, but it is the level you have in the forums which is a different thing.
