Pasting Some Files in Forza Horizon 4 Game Folder; not allowing me to Copy or Paste or even...

Ok, if you are planning to reinstall Windows 11 and want to keep the Forza Horizon 5 installation on your D drive without having to download it again, there is an approach you can try. Be sure to back up your important files before making any changes to your system.

Back up the game installation folder Go to the location where Forza Horizon 5 is installed on your D drive and copy the entire game folder to a safe place. Typically, the default installation location for Microsoft Store games is "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps". Locate the Forza Horizon 5 installation folder within that location.

Perform the reinstallation of Windows 11 Follow the process to reinstall Windows 11 on your computer as you normally do. This will format your C drive and reinstall the operating system.

Once you have completed the reinstallation of Windows 11, go to the location where the Forza Horizon 5 installation folder was on your D drive and check if the folder is still present. In some cases, reinstalling Windows may have deleted the game installation folder.

If the Forza Horizon 5 installation folder is deleted during Windows reinstallation, you can copy the backup folder you made in step 1 back to the original location on your D drive.

Verify the integrity of the game After restoring the game installation folder, launch the Xbox or Microsoft Store app and verify the integrity of the game. This will allow the application to detect existing game files and perform any necessary repairs or updates.

1. go to your xbox folder /xbox games)
   
2. in the xbox folder you will find 3 folders\
   
   1. Constellation
      
   2. Old Mars
      
   3. Starfield
      
3. go into the Constellation folder and copy all the files except the content folder into the Starfield folder (all the EACExxx files)
   
4. go into the Constellation folder -> go into the Content folder -> go into the data folder and copy the 3 files, then go into the Starfield folder -> Content folder -> data folder and paste the 3 files there.
   
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 but now for the Old Mars folder. (Copy again the EACE files into the starfield folder and again copy the 3 files from the Old Mars data folder into the data folder of Starfield
   
6. launch the game and the error should be gone

Jar files are not enough

I uninstalled MSFS2020 through the Xbox Store, checked the Community folder to make sure it was empty, the I re-downloaded MSFS2020 and installed it again. Then I re-downloaded Prosim738 and the install worked okay. I was going to install some new aircraft liveries but first I copied Prosim738 from the Community folder to make a backup copy (which was strongly suggested) but when I tried to paste it to a different folder I got the same error: "Your organization does not allow you to place this file here. The problem is apparently not with Prosim738 or MSFS2020 but some setting in Windows 10 or something else that is stopping me from making any changes in the Community folder.

I take this as the file should not be placed in a folder as then it would not be placed in the root directory. I do believe it would have stated if it needed to be put in a folder.
