Past few days can’t join parties and disconnects when friends join mine

Upon reading the description you have posted, it seems that you have an issue with Xbox wherein Even though you had already tried restarting your router, power cycle your Xbox console and test nat type. You are still getting the same problem, when your friends join your game they are disconnected and when you join them the same behavior also occurs.

We understand that you are quite frustrated right now. As you only wanted to talk with your friends but something came up and it is preventing you from doing so on your Xbox console. That is why we will do our best to provide you with the best possible options that you can try.

Common causes:

Wrong Configurations: By activating specific Xbox settings, you can turn your chat back on.

Your Xbox may have privacy settings that restrict your ability to share. Alternately, the router's included NAT Type can restrict your features. To repair Xbox Party Chat's malfunction, you would need to modify these settings.

Last but not least, your audio and chat hardware can be broken. The problems could be anything from dust to old wires and loose connections.

Although it's not very common, the Xbox servers are down. The Xbox multiplayer servers are rarely unavailable for use.

• Are you currently using the Xbox series X,S or One?

• Does this issue only occurs on one specific game only?

When I invite someone to party or join someone it says connecting and then it’s will say party chat disconnected and then I can’t join any of my friends does any one know how to fix?

Having the same problem in St. Louis, Missouri. Can not join friend's party and they can't join mine.
