    Password wrong and recovery email incorrect


    I'm trying to log into the microsoft store on my computer.

    Whenever I input my password, which I just created, it comes up as incorrect.

    If I wanted to get a verification code, the email address that it wants to send it to is not the recovery email that I have listed in my account settings.

    I've tried seeing if there were any other recovery emails and found nothing, it should all be going straight my email address, no extra aliases.

    I'm out of ideas and would love some help please.

    I think i just lost 100$+

    What it says it's that the email or password is incorrect, so if you are sure that is the right email, the password must be wrong

    if you dont know the email but you still know the correct gamertag, you can contact xbox support, they will ask a few things to make sure talking with the account owner and then can provide you the correct email.

    if you know the correctemail, you can try to sign in here on www.xbox.com or use password recovery if you recieve an error "password incorrect".

    i know the email and password for my parents account but i type it in and it just sais "PARENTAL APPROVAL REQUIRED The parent credentials provided are incorrect. Please enter the correct parent Windows Live ID to continue"

    but if i type in something different (say the email and password for another account) it tells me that either the password or email is wrong. so it knows the first email and pword is correct it just doessnt go to the next page

    WTF HELP

    sounds like you entered it wrong and the system thinking the misspelled email or incorrect password is a new windows live ID and created a new account based on it. you will have to contact support to get into your account using your original log in/password.
