Password reset loop for Xbox Live and Outlook

I returned from holiday and found I could no longer sign into my Xbox live account. I phoned customer support and was walked through the Reset Console and create new password for my Live account.

This worked, but then my current Outlook password wasn't recognised anymore prompting a password reset for Outlook. This I did and created a new password.

After this, my Xbox Live account wouldn't recognise my recently updated password again - Please note at this point both passwords were the same after resetting both Outlook and Xbox live.

I reset the console and created a new password for Live and get in fine, but now Outlook won't recognise its password and so the loop begins.

I have two more Xboxes in my house and I don't dare touch them as that would be too bigger a loop for my brain to deal with.

Is there a way to globally reset all passwords associated with all of my Microsoft Devices / Apps?

Or is there a way to fix this?

If you use a MS server email (outlook.com, Hotmail.com, live.com, msn.com) for your xbox and you are using it when trying to use your email then it would be the same password for both.

So whichever the last password you changed it to try using that password on both outlook and xbox and see if that works
