    Password it's wrong but it's 100% not


    I had to change my pasaword yesterday because it kept saying it was wrong. Now it says my new password is wrong and wont let me login on my xbox or my phone. And wont allow me to change as ive apparently "asked for too many verification codes"

    What do i do?

    Hi SR,

    I would suggest following the steps in Solution 1, as EggsBoxJuan stated above, and turn two-step verification back on.

    Give that a shot, and let us know how it goes.

    Not only are we having the same problem, but I've tried calling customer support several times. All i get is that they are having a large volume of calls and it will be a 90 min wait time. I tried chatting online with someone and after entering all the
    information was told that wasn't available at this time. Also agreed to having them call me back - was told would be approx 19 min - umm that was at 10 am this morning and it is now 9pm. To top all this off, whe I log in to our account online I show NO xbox
    live gold membership associated with out account even though we've been paying it for years and money was just taken out of checking account 3 weeks ago. I also show no history, no payments made. no points existing etc. This is getting very frustrating and
    my husband is ready to just switch to ps3 if we can't get some sort of support for this issue.

    Call xbox customer support before you get locked out of your account. if you do so, you will have to create another account

    Hi,

    There may be some sort of glitch, you may want to visit this page here and revoke all app passwords and then generate a new one. See if that works out for you.
