    Party Privacy Settings


    My friend since the beginning of today hasn’t been able to talk or hear people in parties. In the party it says, “Your privacy settings prevent chat with some people”, but he hasn’t changed any settings. When he went to see what he had to change nothing restricted any party settings. Everything was the correct settings to hear us and for us to hear him. Thank you for any future help. Me and him appreciate it.

    Make sure your "party privacy" is set to "closed" and that your "party privacy player limit" is set to 13. See if that works.

    Is the second child invited to the party?

    Also check in settings account, privacy & online safety, xbox live privacy, view & customise, communication & multiplayer to ensure they are allowed to party chat

    Have you changed the party settings? In Account < Privacy & online safety < Xbox Live privacy < Communication & multiplayer settings, check to see if nothing is set to block.

    Turns out the problem wasn't his privacy settings. I decided to have a look through his messages, turns out Xbox had banned his communications, but cheers anyway dude
