    Party Overlay Issues Delta Ring


    Having 2 issues the last number of days with party chat.

    1 - While chatting with the overlay feature enabled it will begin to display my gamertag one after the other as I speak. Previously it was a fluid overlay with the gamertag showing up a single time for continuous talking, now my name appears numerous times and can be off putting during gameplay.

    2 - While chatting with the overlay feature enabled it will only display other party members names. People in my party who are no in the insiders program can see their own gamertags correctly displaying. Not a huge issue, but when I am so used to seeing my name appear it is throwing me off my train of thought and causing me to repeat myself thinking my mic is knackered.

    For both issues I have attempted to disable and re-enable the overlay. I have joined & hosted parties. It is almost a pick n mix of which one will happen. Multiple times or not at all.

    I have also submitted a bug report on same, just trying to see if it is a common problem with a possible work around.

    Xbox Series X Civ 6 crashing every other turn

    I am currently trying Delta ring. I will report here if it helps with crashing in late game.

    UPDATE:

    I was able to finish the game that was constantly crashing after updating to Delta ring release Xbox Insider Release Notes - Delta (2208.220715-2200) - Xbox Wire

    If Omega ring has same fixes, then hopefully everyone will get this fix soon.

    I will continue testing with Delta ring with all addons enabled (currently have extra civs disabled) with new game on huge map.

    Xbox One X keeps disconnecting with WiFi

    There is currently a fix in the alpha and delta rings for the insider program to fix intermittant disconnects. MS is aware of the issue so hopefully a fix becomes widespread soon.

    Delta is the lowest of all the rings

    As mentioned you need to be beta and higher

    Hi, it depends what ring you are in. Currently there is no insider build for Beta, Delta and Omega rings, this means you will be on the current public build.
