    Party/Mic issues w/ Skip Ahead


    Playing with my s/o on the same network, I noticed after today's update that inviting them to a party--without already being in a party--results in neither of us being able to hear one another. (we both updated our controllers to make sure that wasn't the issue; I'm on a One X skip ahead alpha and they are on a regular One, non-beta).

    However, when I create the party first and then send the invitation, it works. After doing this, going back the previous invitation method is suddenly fixed.

    The other issue is that my s/o can only hear every other word I say through the headset but their audio comes through clearly.

    Can anyone recreate this issue?

    Stereo headset randomly stopped working

    I have the same issue.

    I have a headset adapter and a pair of music headphones w in-line mic that I've used for months and the mic no longer works w the xbox one. Still works w phone, so it didn't break.

    The headset adapter works w my 360 headset and the 2.5 to 3.5 adapter, so it's not the controller. All firmware is up to date. There was a console update, and the mic hasn't worked for party chat since then.

    Can't figure out why it stopped working.
