    I have a friend who mutes someone in a party because that person bullies him all the time, but somehow this person is able to unmute himself. Does anyone here know how this is even possible?

    Wont let me unmute a friend

    wont let me unmute a friend.. in party chat game chat.. when i go to his player card it will unmute him but when you back out and go back in it dont change

    Party chat mute falt.

    Every time i go into a party, mysrlf and my friend cant unmute each other. It states that we are muted on each others xboxes but wont allow us to unmute. Any suggestions?

    Try unmute your mic while the party menu is open on the left side of the screen press y to unmute your mic

    Our headsets will not work it says its muted and we cant unmute them

    1. Turn on your Xbox One, then press the Xbox button in the center of your controller.

    2. In the Xbox Guide, scroll to the left once to reach the "Multiplayer" tab, then hit "Party" to expand Party options and features.

    3. In your Party, select a person who needs to be unmuted by clicking on their Gamertag, and a dropdown menu will appear.

    4. Select "Unmute" and the player will be unmuted and you should be able to hear them in the party.

    The problem may be in the game settings they are playing also.

    This happened to a friend of mine this weekend. After checking all the hardware settings (all party members did this to be safe), what worked was the one that couldn't hear someone went into the Party App and made sure the users weren't muted. As soon as
    my friend muted then unmuted the person he couldn't hear no issues the rest of the night.

    Tap the Xbox button. In the guide, click on Multiplayer > Party. Tap on Party to open up the party roster, and select the people you want to unmute, and select Unmute. If your chat audio
    is not clear or a bit choppy, this could also be related to your Xbox One controller update.
