    party icon isnt showing up on friends profile


    About a week and a half ago friend a on their xbox profile it stopped showing the headphones icon next to their name signifying that they're in a party. I can't view who's in their party or join their party but I know that they're in a party because they're texting me that they are. My other friend, friend B is able to join friend A's party and friend A has a party icon next to their name for friend B. I can join friend A's Party through Friend B's profile but no matter what I try, updating my computer, restarting the Xbox Game bar app uninstalling the Xbox app signing out and signing back into the Xbox app nothing works

    Its a team game. Communication isnt required but helps. Ill admitt sometimes even when im partied up with my friends I'll have to leave and get into a smaller party so its not like im listening to a radio show..I luv my friends! haha

    Having the same issue also also my friends and I can join in party chat but we can't hear each other and the little blue circle icons in the party chat either don't appear or doesn't show up that we are talking anyone having this issue as well? This is annoying

    Friend shows offline, even though they are def online

    I have a friend who ALWAYS shows offline, even when they are definitely online. If I start a party, they can join, even though they show "offline".

    It shows offline in games like ESO as well.

    That friend says he sees the same thing for my profile, always offline.

    Other friends show the correct status, it's only this one that has an issue.

    Any ideas how to resolve?
    You may have the chosen the option to appear as offline.

    You can check it by pressing the "Xbox Button" on your controller to open the menu, there scroll left or right to the Sign in Tab, and press on your xbox profile icon, another menu will show up and there you will find an option at the bottom, select it and you will see a list where you can choose to appear either offline or online
