Party connection error

Hi guys.

I am just having trouble with connecting to parties. It comes up with “ party connection error”:

I have been hot spotting from my phone on Xbox series s for 2 years. After last update on my Xbox. I can not connect to party chat. It comes up with UPNP not successful. But this has been like that in the past two years and I was still able to connect to party chat! My subscription is still ok

Is anyone else having this issue…? I have unplugged it and also check my hotspot. Any help would be good!

I am having the same issue. Can't connect to party, then party errors out 30 seconds later

I am sorry to hear that.

Please, change your connection DNS.

Follow these steps:

Go to Profile and System > Settings > General > Network Settings.

Select the network you're connected to, then select Advanced settings > Manual

On the DNS field, input these:

Primary: 8.8.8.8

Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Save settings.

Unfortunately we've confirmed that this device will not support multiple consoles with an Open NAT. This is what is causing the issue with allowing for both consoles to connect and function properly. You'll need to use a different network device to allow
both consoles to connect at the same time.

You'll want to reach out to your ISP to check and see if they offer another device that will allow for multiple consoles to connect with an Open NAT.

Sorry for the bad news, but I hope they can help with another device!

Hey there FifaPlayer12332,

It's very likely that your router doesn't support multiple consoles with an Open NAT. We can take a look though and see if there is any options. Can you please provide us your router's manufacturer and model number?
