Party communication

As of Friday (31/01/2020) I have been unable to talk to friends, or anyone on xbox, I'm not sure of the reason for this.

I can hear anyone im in a party with but when I try to speak they cant hear me and the ring around my profile doesn't move

I can send and receive messages

I have tried two other mics and a second controller with all 3 mics none of which have worked.

I have tried with and without the pentagonal official xbox headset adaptor on all 3 mics but still cant see the problem.

I dont think I have a communications ban as I can still half communicate (hear others) and I have checked my email for an email from xbox explaining anything to no avail.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try Setting up a headset adapter. This helps if the 3.5mm socket
is faulty on the controller and also Update your controller firmware
are two support links for further steps to take.

Make sure to update every controller.

Go to your settings and check to make sure the volume is turned up for chat. To check and see if you have an enforcement, try here

My friend had this exact problem and he was Com Banned, so I'm pretty sure this is your case.
