Party Chaty not recording.

There are several factors why you are unable to record using the Xbox App. It is possible that the app is outdated or there is a software conflict between the current version of the app and the Windows Update. To resolve your concern, we recommend that you
run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the Run troubleshooter button on this link. This
process will check and resolve common issues with the apps on your PC.

You can also reset the Windows Store to clear the Store cache by following the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.   
2. Click on Command prompt (Admin).   
3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.   

After you reset Windows Store, uninstall and reinstall the Xbox App to manually update it.

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell in the search box.  
2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.  
3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage  
4. Hit Enter.  
5. Launch Windows Store and download the Xbox App.  

If the issue persists, install all the critical and important Windows Updates by following the steps on this

link.

There is no way currently to record party chat on Xbox.

There are work-arounds to record party chat and those include but are not limited to: third party recording software, streaming on Twitch or another streaming platform.

I'll second that, love Blue Yeti mics.

Currently the Xbox Game DVR app does not support recording party chat.

You will have to use external hardware and software to capture party chat and ingame sound/video, like an ElGato.

Hey thanks for answering currently I use a USB 3.0 to record and a voice recording app on my pc then I insert it in my editing software

Xbox needs better recording apps

You can broadcast on mixer through your xbox and have your friend include his audio in the broadcast. Then after your done recording stop the stream and go to mixer.com. View your past streams and download it to your computer. Edit it in a video editor,
and then upload it to youtube.

*Make sure you change your settings in mixer to save your recordings.

This is the only way to do it with out an Capture card. If you need any further help please let us know!!!

wow that's a great idea the only part is feeling awkward if someone gets in the live stream and listens but I will need to work with that if I want to start youtube I appreciate your helping me
