    Party chats will never connect


    I’ve been having this issue for a couple of days now and whenever I start a party, shortly afterwards it will say ‘party chat disconnected’ and if I try to join someone else’s party chat then it will never connect to it. I have tried turning everything off and back on multiple times, fully resetting both my console and wifi router to factory settings and nothing helps. Please let me know if this is an issue on xbox’s side or if there is a way to fix this. It is not down to my connection as I can play online games perfectly fine and can hear in game chat, but just cannot connect to a party whatsoever.

    I appreciate it, Cam because we have already performed all the necessary steps just to test it out.

    We will just use the mobile data for a bit and just check if it will work or not.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. Can you please let me know what is your current NAT Type?

    Setting > General > Network Settings > Test NAT Type.

    I appreciate you letting me know. Do you have a different network connection that we can try to use such as a mobile hotspot just to test it out?

    You've mentioned both consoles, is this happening with multiple Xbox consoles?

    Also, have you tried using a different account?
