    Party chat says "connecting" but then drops me out with no warning


    I'm on Xbox Series X and Alpha Skip Ahead. For about a month or so my Party Chat is very broken. When joining a party chat, about 90% of the time it will say "connecting", but never connect and drop me out without warning. I have to keep trying anywhere from 5-10 times until it eventually connects. Sometimes I am dropped from the party chat mid game, again with no warning, so I have to do this process again in game. My party chat was fine before this and nothing has changed on my end: same settings, same network hardware, same everything. I've Googled all over and can't seem to find any info on this happening to others. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

    I'm wired and i have a similar issue where when i drop out with a weasel or anything, my party chat "Disconnects" and says the "Network settings block chat" the two could be related.

    It's signs your Gamertag Profile out of Xbox Live, until it Downloads & Applies the games update..

    Anything connected to your profile, will drop out (ie. Party Chat) when downloading a game update etc..

    Maybe your internet dropped out and disconnected you from your game and party chat?
