Party Chat Question

Is it possible for me to use my kinect as a chat mic but use my headset to hear the other people in the party? The mic on my headset has recently broken and I would like to use the kinect as a replacement. However, I would like to still hear the people in
the party through my chat headset.

Anyone know if the option for party chat can come through tv speakers and headset?...The 360 has this option which I use all the time.

Its best to get a replacement mic but as you don't feel like getting a replacement you can try this,

Turn on Kinect Mic.

Connect headphones to xbox.

Turn volume on tv down to zero.

Works very simply if they are headphones that are wireless or connect directly to the Xbox. Although you'll have to sit close to your Kinect if you want your friends to hear you well.

ah that sucks! sadly, im just speaking from my experience it is easier to buy another headset i know that is not what you wanted to hear sorry !

Yeah, everything comes through fine in a party, this question is for game chat, as ps4 players can't join a party chat.

He wasn't asking if he can party chat with 360 people on his Xbox ONE, he was saying can he be logged into both consoles and play a game on the one while party chatting on his 360. Read his statement again before you shoot off and tell me I'm wrong.

just make sure you mention you need to be signed on to both consoles for that to work... if you are on XB1... the ONLY communication with a person on the 360 is text messaging... and vice versa for the 360 to 1
