Party chat on Xbox game bar not working.

Party chat on Windows/Xbox App still works. An alternative is the Xbox game bar Party.

To bring up the Xbox game bar, Hold the Windows button and Press "G"

From there you will be able to initiate a Party and Much more!

Game Bar and Xbox app conflict withneach other so bad. Once I installed Game Bar i had to remove Xbox App. But in the last two weeks Game Bar is working really bad. It refuses to let me join party chats. I send invites to party chat as well do not work.
I tried to go back to xbox app since i can not tolerate half working software, and now Xbox app half works. No notification comes up at all for Xbox app but Game Bar persists even when i shut it of. I wanted uninstall Game Bar but you cant.

Game Bar is cool and all but not worth it. How do i get rid of it?

2. Check your privacy settings: Make sure the Xbox app has access to your microphone. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure the "Allow apps to access your microphone" option is turned on. Windows Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure Xbox Game Bar and Xbox Console Companion have permission to access your microphone.

3. Check your Xbox app settings: Open the Xbox app and go to Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output. Make sure your microphone is selected as the default recording device and that the volume is turned up.

I understand that you are having issues with your Xbox game bar party chat not working.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Here are the troubleshooting steps to perform on your Windows PC:

Please reset the Xbox Game Bar App by opening Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Find Xbox Game Bar, click Advanced options, and then select Reset.

And then check audio device settings. Press Windows key + G to open Xbox Game Bar. Go to Settings > Party Chat and make sure the correct input and output devices are selected.

Next is to update audio drivers. To do this please open Device Manager, find your audio device, right-click, and select Update driver.

Make sure your audio drivers are up to date.

Then check app permissions.Kindly open Settings > Privacy > Microphone.

Make sure Xbox Game Bar and the Xbox app have permission to access your microphone.

After that is to adjust volume mixer. Please right-click the volume icon on the taskbar and select Open Volume Mixer.

Find all instances of Xbox Game Bar and make sure their volumes are turned up.

Once done performing all the steps kindly restart your PC and then try joining the party again.
