Party chat on mobile app not working with Twitch:

I hope you are doing well today. Welcome to the Xbox Community. Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. We understand that many users are attempting to broadcast their party chat audio via their Twitch broadcast.

In order to broadcast party chat audio, you will need to enable this feature in the Guide when broadcasting via Twitch. Once enabled, each participant in the party will then have the option to opt-in to their audio being broadcast. The additional party members will need to be on an Xbox console or using party chat via Gamebar on PC. There is currently no option for users on the Xbox mobile app to allow their party chat audio to be broadcasted.

Xbox Broadcasting: With the latest Microsoft Xbox update, streamers will no longer need the Twitch App on Xbox to broadcast and can instead go live in less time by broadcasting directly from their Xbox console. This update will begin rolling out November 16th and will be available to all streamers by the end of 2022.

How to live stream on Xbox: To stream from a live streaming provider on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, download the app for the provider you want to use. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and select Store > Apps. Find and select the app, and then select Install.

Thank you for patiently waiting. I got an update from the team, and we have things that need to be verified.

Make sure that Party app is not muted via Twitch app, as you have to allow Party chats as you set up the stream.

Ensure that your friend s have allowed microphone to be accessed via the Xbox mobile app on Android.

Check if your friend has a PC where you can test out the Xbox party chat via PC and see if that works.

Ensure that the person streaming goes to their sound settings on the console and sets the party chat through the headset and speakers. Check the Twitch app on Xbox, and that party chat is not muted.

Finally, please perform the following steps.

1. Go to settings on the console
   
2. Accounts
   
3. Privacy and Online Safety
   
4. Xbox Privacy
   
5. View details & Customize
   
6. Communication and Multiplayer
   
7. Make sure that settings are set to everybody and see if this fixes the problem.

While waiting for an Update from our internal team, can also contact twitch support and have this issue check on their end as well. There is a feature within the Twitch App that allows you to toggle party chat.

Twitch got back to me. Got no help from them. I know in game chat doesn't record with Twitch, and that it's Party Chat that should be recording but isn't.

I've done everything in their criteria as well as console update and volume settings adjusted, and read the troubleshoot link and still no luck.
