Party Chat Not Working

For the past week or so, any time I go on my xbox and try to use the party chat, whether it be me starting a party or joining one, it never works, I can never hear anybody and they cannot hear me. When I join a party my gamertag always has an X next to my
name where there was normally a small dot, and when people join mine they get the X instead.

Sometimes, but not always, after joining a party and getting the X next to my GT a few seconds passes and then I get an error saying I cannot join the party due to network limitations, but when I hit close I am still in that party with other players just
with an X next to my name and not being able to hear them or they hear me as previously stated.

When this previously happened I would restart my xbox and it would work, but now it does not and even cold starting it by unplugging the system does not work anymore either. This is getting very annoying that I cannot talk to my friends online anymore.

is there a fix for this and if so what is it?

Party chat not working

so far the only game where I can hear people talking is Battlefield 4. I cannot hear my friends or speak to them in party chat . This been a problem, I can see the green dot in under my account in party chat, however I don't see my friends green dot. Can
somebody help me out please.

I have the logitech G930 7.1 wireless headset and audio is fine, but I can't talk to anyone in my party nor can I hear them.

 

I should also note that there is never anything wrong with my own or the other people I am playing with connections. I am still able to use all other normal functions I use and play on xbox live and watch Netflix etc.

the people I am trying to chat with say that their chats work with other people just not with me which is what lead me to believe my system is having a problem.
