Party Chat Issues After Latest Update

OK this is old and some people may not have this issue but the problem I was having was due to party chat staying on even after exiting party chat but since a few software updates have been put out the party chat thing is not an issue anymore

To clarify, is this friend enrolled in the
Update Preview via the Xbox Insider Program? There's currently an active investigation into an issue in the latest preview build which can interfere with arty chat if one of the members of the party chat is on a preview update.

Is your console used? If so, the previous owner may have been in the preview program. If it is not, the preview program isn't completely random. you have to be invited by a friend, and then approve membership by downloading the preview app and opting in
to the update. If you want out of the program, you can opt out in the Preview app. Go to Registration, Change, and then you can completely opt out of the program, or opt out of the New Xbox One Experience. However, this will factory reset your console, which
will cause you to have to reinstall all games and apps that are on the internal hard drive, so I would move them to an external drive if possible.

my xbox has been having the same problem with the update it always stops at 40 mb then says there was a problem with the update its very annoying i even factory reset it and still the same thing so thanks a lot xbox

Hey, I'm having issues as a result of this new update as well, except mine is completely bricked. I can't get anything to work. Usually I'm stuck on the green loading screen. I even tried a factory reset and it didn't fix anything. If you hear anything,
please report back, and I'll do the same. If it's any consolation, you are not alone.

Also, I'm going to as many gaming news websites to report my experience. I hope if the media covers it, we'll get some prompt resolution. I implore you to do the same.
