Party chat is bugging out

party chat is bugging out. Friends are saying I sound like a robotic and some are saying I’m not.

xbl is very anti social.. there needs to be a forced game chat

I only use game chat anymore. Its annoying when people hole up in their party's and can't play objectively. I find I mute more people in party's then in game chat. I think party chat should be disabled in game.

The biggest problem has always been muting people in a timely manner, you know figuring out who is actually bugging you in chat and muting them before you lose the match while navigating through recent players.

 

Parties, chats and game invites

You can stay in a party even if you're not playing the same game I believe. And when you join a party, it defaults to game chat, so if you want to chat with your party you need to turn party chat on (everyone who wants to party chat needs to do this). There are bugs at the moment preventing this connection sometimes, most of which are got around by starting parties outside of games and turning on party chat there. I got it working eventually.

Problem is the party is a bit broken and buggy at the moment, so things that should work don't, and I hope people hold judgement until these are fixed. But I agree, there are bits that are clunky.

Try a hard reset with your headset not plugged in. To do so Hold the Power button for 10 seconds allowing the system to fully shut down. Then restart it.

If only certain friends hear you as a robot it might be a issue on their end.

Are you in the insider program by any chance? There have been some audio issues reported in the last few builds.
