    Party Chat Gets Stuck After a Network Disconnect and Reconnect


    I was in a party alone when my network decided to disconnect for a moment. Once reconnecting to the Xbox Network, the party said it had an error. When I went to clear it to make a new party, my console still has me listed in a party. I cannot open said party to leave manually and the error that the party had a problem is still there. A full restart fixes it.

    I also have this same issue; it disconnects randomly and reconnects after a while. It looks like that as much I use party chat more frequently the disconnections get, until it's barely usable, so I have to reboot. This happens only
    on PC either in Console Companion App and Win+G, but doesn't with my XBOX (Same network, same router, same all), for 1 mouth now. Also, Discord and Skype works with no problem at all.

    Have you been able to join/host parties in the app before? I'd recommend trying it after disconnecting / reconnecting from your network, restarting your phone, and if those don't work, uninstalling/reinstalling the app. See if those help.

    So why doesn't it just pick back up the party chat after and reconnect? Why do I have to leave the party, then close the app and reopen it to reconnect? That makes zero sense.
