    My Xbox wont let me talk on the app or the game with brand new headset or controller and is making me frustrated with Xbox. If I cna get any help I will take it please.

    It's not meant to be "party chat" but "chat". Whether ingame or party. But the buttons are not switching between game or party chat, but to control the balance between game sounds and voice chat.

    When the game starts hit the menu (start) button and check the chat channel it happens to me few times we get into a game and no one can hear each other but if you toggle chat channels that has worked for me every time so far

    Hello there,

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! In regards to the party chat issue, have you tried to troubleshoot your network? I would suggest trying to restart your network Modem/router by unplugging it for 2 minutes then plugging it back in.
