    Party chat for a mute


    I play on series x with a keyboard attached for faster xbox messaging because i am unable to speak with a disability. In party chat i use text to speech and it is a huge benefit. MY question is, is there any shortcuts available?

    I have changed my capture button on controller to direct it to party chat and thats good but not great. I still have to scroll down the party chat and hit show text to type. Which i add is one above leave and that has had some issues in trying to warn my team and leaving the chat... Is there a direct shortcut either with keyboard or controller to be able to text faster? xbox game bar and pc app is unable to use text to speech to xbox party chats so cant use them

    If i could request an option it would be a keyboard shortcut directly to the party messaging. Better yet an option to keep the keyboard always ready to message the party and when somthing is typed appear as a transparent box so i can see what is being typed. Similar to that of pc games

    make sure you didn't mute mic on the party chat side not the controller adapter highlight your name in party chat and press Y.

    pressing Y in party chat mode with your selection on the party chat system will mute you and pressing X mutes all party members (including yourself)

    it could also be that if you are in party Chat, but join a game lobby, your mic will show as muted because you are in a party. Some games will display the mic as muted when you are in XBL party chat.

    If you are in a party, just go to party chat. That basically mutes all, eh?
