party chat disconnected "Cant get Teredo IP Address"

Same problem, spent HOURS figuring this out. Most of what was recommended on the forums didn't work for me. What DID work, finally, was going to Network -> Network Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Alternate Port Selection, and switching the port
manually to something else. I got a "moderate" NAT setting on the 4th or so different port selection I tried. Then, in my router settings I forwarded ports using the new port I had manually selected on the Xbox. NAT settings are finally open, for the first
time in 3 days of trying to figure this out. Hope that helps someone.

I did this for 2 straight days, tried it again today and voila! Back on and going live on twitch soon!

Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced settings > Alternate port selection > Manual, and chose another random port. if it comes back unavailable just try and find a port that is either open or moderate. If it moderate try running a Nat test and hopefully
that turns it to open

GO TO
1. Network Settings
2. Advanced Settings
3. DNS Settings
4. Select Manual
5. Change Primary DNS address to 8.8.8.8
6. Change Secondary DNS address to 8.8.4.4
7. Now go back and it will say "It's all good, Your console is connected to the internet"
And for me my NAT went immediately to OPEN give it a try hope this helps!

To do this hold the power button on the xbox for 10 seconds till it shuts down remove the wire wait another 10 secs and turn it back on and try again.
If that doesn't fix it try resetting your mac address go to
Settings>Network>Advanced>AlternateMAC>Clear restart your xbox and try again

T3chnlgydude, has pointed out you may need to set up a static IP address & port forward the console as there are more than one consoles in use in your home. You may wish to try out the links he has provided for assistance as they've
been known to work in situations as such.

Teredois a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers, and to facilitate
connectivity between devices behind routers that use network address translation (NAT).
Without a TeredoIP address, you’ll be unable to use party chat or do multiplayer gaming on Xbox Live. Generally, this is a setting in your router
(network hardware) that can be toggled on/off and is not a setting located in your console.With more than one console in use, this can lead to issues that are like the one you're experiencing, among others.

I recommend trying the following troubleshooting article as well:
”I get an error message when I run the ‘Test multiplayer connection’ on Xbox One”.

Sadly, if all troubleshooting solutions have been done for the console and you continue to receive the Teredo error message, then the next thing you may have to do is contact your Internet Service Provider for more assistance with your network.

I also have two consoles and this helped me:

I assigned static IP addresses to both consoles. I then used the DMZ function
on my router and assigned one console to the DMZ. I then used port forwarding on the second console. After
setting everything up, I restarted both consoles about 10-20 seconds apart.

Once the consoles were back online I did a network test and my issue was resolved

This trouble shooter does not work i have tried it. Gone as far as factory resetting my xbox and still no fixes. Even the xbox app is having issues with connecting to parties.
