Party chat audio but no other audio

It's possible that the audio settings on your Xbox One may have been changed after using Fortnite's party voice chat.

Basing on the statement you provided above, here are some troubleshooting steps that you may try:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

2. Go to System > Settings > Display & sound > Volume.

3. Check that the "Headset audio" option is set to "Stereo uncompressed".

4. If it's already set to "Stereo uncompressed", try changing it to another option and then back to "Stereo uncompressed".

5. If that doesn't work, try resetting your Xbox One console by holding down the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off, then turn it back on again.

Yes I tried Fifa and was just the same. Game audio good but no voice audio from others. I can do party chat ok but others are cross platform

To be able to record party chat audio you will need an Elgato or anything external capture card as that will capture any audio on your Xbox (Party, Game, All audio)

Are you using the chat mixer to change the balance between party and game chat audio? That function makes a beep when you max out the mixer function to all game or all party chat audio.
