party causing issues

Hi there Zivify

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status It doesn't seem like any xbox live issues. I suggest these 4 things first is power cycle



1ST https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console After the console is fully switched off unplug it for 3-5 minutes plug
back in part of 3 as well

2nd soft factory reset to try and clean up any bugs https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults first
one the keep all games is recommended to do first rather than full hard reset prefer leaving that as a last resort card before repair which would be 5th(if I was going that far) but if soft reset doesn't work Try number 3.

3rd A router and power cycle refresh same as the power cycle but a full power down of both Console and router, Something might be draining when it connects for some odd reason.

4th is hard factory rest Same as step 2 but a full wipe.

Thank you, I did a soft reboot earlier and i did the power cycle and neither of them worked but i just soft rebooted my xbox again and it worked. Strange :l

Sorry for the issue with joining parties. Currently there are no issues with Xbox live. You can always check this at

live server status. First try a
power cycle on your console. If that doesn't help then we recommend a
soft factory reset. Try these and let us know.

Have you joined a party with someone hosting both the party and a ingame match? That can cause this issue aswell since its happened to me.
