Party audio works, But no game audio.

    Party audio works, But no game audio.


    The only audio coming out of my headset is people talking in a party.

    I have checked my accessories and they are all working which are my headphones and my power cord for the xbox controller.

    Note that the controller is brand new and arrived today.

    I need support to fix this issue via settings.

    To be able to record party chat audio you will need an Elgato or anything external capture card as that will capture any audio on your Xbox (Party, Game, All audio)

    Game sound not playing through one controller, voice chat works

    Anyone have an ideas? Headset has audio for party voices, but all in game audio and menu clicks do not work whne the headset is plugged into red controller. Sound works normally with the headset when plugged into black. What would be wrong with the red headset? The hardware seems to clearly work as the party voice chat works.... Very weird that only in game audio does not work. Is there a way to unpair the headset or some other type of reset anyone has heard of?

    If you connect the HDMI cable to the TV directly you hear the party audio on the Tv?

    You wanna stream the Xbox party audio or in game party audio?

    Hi there,

    I think in Party settings or (in the guide) Settings > Audio (not 100% sure this is the exact path, but it's around there) there should be a Mixer to control a mix of Party audio and Game audio. If you can hear your party, it's going to be a volume issue.
