Party and game crashing issue help

Been having the same issue as OP. Don't need to be in a party for it to crash though, I've had crashes on any party inv, whether I'm in a party or not.

Waking up this thread. I was having the same issue. Game bar kept crashing whenever I would join a party/someone would join my party. I found that on my end it had something to do with the noise suppression setting. Every time I click on it to enable/disable it, the game bar would crash, but now that it's off I have no problems with the game bar. Hope this helps.

Hi, The game freezes for 10-15sec and then the xbox shuts down and then you have to press the power buttom on the xbox to start it.

Then the xbox starts up like you have done a hard reset.

I have a lot of friends that have the same issue. it crashes more often when you sit in a xbox live party chat.

No i have not done a re install. it doesnt crash atm with just a controller.

After the update my xbox crashed alot more even harder.

I found a solution that helps. It does not exactly mean it fixes it but it minimizes the issues. I notice this happened to me most when in party chat. I never really had any crashing issues during single player or multiplayer when im not in party chat. Only
when in party chat with my friends.

This is what i did

I uninstalled the game and all its content

Shut off xbox by holding down the xbox button on console. As it shut down, i continued to hold the xbox button for 30 seconds after before i let it go.

I then unplugged the power cord from the back of the console and from the wall for 3 minutes then plugged it back in and booted it back up.

(That usually helps clear cache and fix any left behind corrupt files that may have still been left behind after the update that was supposed to fix it.)

Reinstalled the game.

Also what helps if you have Party chat overlay on in the chat turn it off.

I just hope this helps.. Just know its not a fix but just a solution that minimizes the crashes by alot

Same issue here, I use the Xbox app as my primary use of the XBL party. Lately I've been having crashing issues with the party invites. I had to start hosting the parties to circumvent the issues. Been really annoying. Hope this is fix asap.
