    Parties lag severely if the xbox app is behind another window.


    I have recently noticed that if i am playing a game, have a browser up, or have any window up for that matter, my parties lag so severely that i cant understand what people are saying. I have experimented with it, and as soon as i click on the xbox app window
    so it is on top of everything else, the lag stops instantly. The lag only happens if the party window is behind another or minimized.

    I'm having the same issue. When I open any other xbox game in Win 10 it logs me into my xbox account. But, with Solitaire, it opens the window for xbox and shows me logged in. I close that window to see the solitaire game behind it and it pops up another
    window that says "No microsoft account" and gives me a login button or "play as a guest" button. The login takes me back to the xbox window and the cycle repeats. If it is any clue, I check the "don't show this again" checkbox in the error window. It still
    always reappears.

    Thought I'd post another work around for this issue that I've just come across..

    For this you will need to have a Windows 10 PC or Laptop nearby but with this setup you won't need a chat cable from the controller to the MixAmp which I felt was a good positive.

    Basically I've connected the MixAmp Pro to my Windows 10 PC via the USB power supply, then connected the optical cable to the Xbox One as usual, on the PC launch the Xbox App and then invite friends to Party via the App (invites go to their Xbox) once in the party you can do everything as normal having Dolby Digital sound from your Xbox One to the headset as well as the Xbox Party Chat with no cable to the controller.

    Obviously using this method on the PC you could also use Discord/Skype chat if you prefer but if your friends just use Xbox Party Chat then this is a solution I hadn't previously thought of.

    Hi!

    Have you edited these videos you have taken with another app?

    Also is the footage captured using the Xbox DVR option (Windows + G) or other third party software?

    From my experience videos that are taken using third party capturing software or edited without the Xbox app can not be uploaded using the Xbox app.

    Don't always believe what you hear or read

    Both are selling well, PS4 is selling better. I don't think the Xbox One is in trouble or will be in trouble. It may always be lagging behind in sales, but not enough to lose third party support. If the Xbox One stops hitting
    Microsoft's targets then Microsoft will do something about that.

    Only solution is to wait until they release the apps on android and Windows phones. Try using left or right on the D pad to call him over if he lags behind. I've been using the app but the tricks you learn just seem to be the basic sit, lay down, or rollover.
    I can only confirm sit, that's the only one I have unlocked.
