    Part came out of my xbox one s


    I opened up my xbox one s to clean out the dust from several years of use. Didn't realise that a few of the screws were smaller on the inner shield but one side lifted up. I saw inside and this thing had came off something

    I wouldn't usually take apart something like this but it kept overheating and instead of paying money to get it looked at I thought it wouldn't be too difficult to just take some dust out of it. In which there was a lot of it.

    Please help or point me in the direction of getting it back inside since I play on my xbox a lot.

    Yes I'm aware that the seal on the back if broken will void the warranty. But the warranty is already over so it didn't really make much odds.
    The warranty seal isn't just for a free repair in warranty. It's also there to insure to Microsoft that the console hasn't been tampered with if you send it to them. If the seal is broken, Microsoft won't repair it, even if you're willing to pay.

    As a rule, we do not allow discussions regarding self repair.

    Hello PHaNtoMzX77, this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants, usually who usually open the Xbox is because the console is out of warranty, or if it is under warranty when doing so the warranty is voided.

    As your console is already open the ideal would be to look for some technical assistance specialized in games so that they can help you assemble the console again.
