    Parental Controls


    I recently purchased a pre-owned xbox 360 and it will not allow me to download some games because it is blocked by my family settings. The only problem is that I have never set up the parental controls, but there is a password in place so I cannot change
    them. I did not set the password and I did not make the security questions.

    Is there a way that I can get this reset so that there are no parental controls?

    @Cman524. In order for you to reset the parental block via passcode, you need to register the console under the account first. Go to
    http://myservice.xbox.com/ and select "Register a device". Once you have registered the console, you need to contact Xbox Support for them to provide you the reset key along with the steps how to reset
    the 4 digit passcode on the console.
