parental controls still on?

With regards to this issue you have, it is possible that the first time your account was created, the date of birth of it is set incorrectly that is why you are encountering problems accessing your settings. Let us try to check on that by the steps below:

1. You will need an alternate account that will serve as a parent or admin. If you don't have one you can create at https://signup.live.com page.

2. Using the parent account sign in via https://account.microsoft.com/family page and add your Xbox email address or account as a Member/Child.

3. Accept the invitation using your Xbox account email.

4. Using the parent account, go to the https://account.microsoft.com/family page again to manage the child account.

5. Under the child account, click elipsis or 3 dots button and choose the Manage option.

There you may try to change the date of birth of your main account and remove any restrictions. Also using the parent account created, go to https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/Settings/Home as well under "Privacy & online safety" settings > Select your gamertag > and try to disable and enable the settings.

Once done, just restart your console and check if there are still restrictions. If the restrictions has disappeared, you may remove your account from the family group now.

You are still a child in the xbox world - you parents would need to raise you level on Parental Controls.

Hi there! I am afraid that the Family Packs are no longer available. However, when his account is created it should still prompt for a Parental Account so that you can have controls and monitoring for his account's activity. That info is over here: Xbox

Even though the family plan has been discontinued, your son can still have his own Xbox Live ID and you can control the content he sees. Here is how to go about creating one and how to setup parental controls:

I would suggest you to request for tech from ISP to visit you and check out the problem. It still seems like Parental controls misconfiguration. Also, any parental controls for the Xbox itself?
