    Parental Controls for an adult?


    My son uses my account to play Fortnite, where he's already purchased battle packs and skins. I've created an account for him but because Fortnite doesn't allow you to change email addresses on the game, he doesn't want to use his new account, preferring
    to continue with mine where he has all of his rewards and such. However, he is not self-monitoring and I want to set time limits via parental controls. Is there a way to do that? If not, do you have another suggestion to force him off the game after a given
    period of time?

    You could ask the owner of the adult account to disable parental controls, and download the game that way. Then, when you are done downloading the game, the adult can turn the parental controls back on.

    Have you got a family account setup at all, or parental controls?

    That may be the issue.

    Try asking your parent/guardian to turn off their parental controls, and reply if it does not help.

    If your parent/guardian does not know how to turn parental controls off, tell them to promote the Xbox Live account to an adult one, instead of a child one. You may have a child account, instead of a full adult account.

    It is not recommended to pass a child as an adult, if there is parental control it is not for nothing, games should not be accessible to children too young. I'm sorry, but I would never recommend that a child ask their parents to change their adult account.
