    Parental Consent Emails

    Hi All,

I've been receiving these emails to confirm parental consent for one of my kids. It talks about the action required, then says accounts will be suspended on 10/25, then permanently deleted on 11/4. I've gone through the required actions four times... received confirmation popups and follow-up confirmation emails, but I keep getting the action required emails. I even saved my confirmation email from September because I knew I had gone through the process a couple times before. I just got another one, so again I went through the process.

I did notice that the emails all begin with "If you haven't confirmed since we previously contacted you..." so that makes me think that perhaps it is just an "ignore this email if you've already done it" situation, but how do I know? Why keep sending me emails if I've already done it? How can I confirm so I can make sure my son's account isn't permanently deleted?

    :)

    Parental Consent Emails

    Hi Kanderna.

    My name is Renato.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

First of all, I want to tell you that, from personal experience, it's never advisable to perform the same operation multiple times, so I would avoid re-submitting the form offered to you. The important thing is that you have kept the confirmation email.
If you gave your consent there will not be any problem with the account and it won't be deleted.

In any case, as you can see from the received email, an account is first suspended and then deleted. So you can rest assured, and you can also reassure your son :)

    Change email for parental consent

Because the original account is now your eldest son's account. Technically he has to consent all the changes on the family settings.

I think, you and your youngest son should be removed from the family group first (the one that you share with your eldest son). He might have to do it, as he has the parental control.

Then sign in your xbox, and create a new family group for you and your youngest son.

Remove yourself or a family member from your family on Xbox One

Create a child account and add family members on Xbox One

Hope it helps and did not confuse you more, let us know if that works!
