    My son has a xbox gold live account, but doesn't get to play online. A message says we have to change the parent crontrol settings, but I cant find
    where to change the setting when I'm in my Microsoft account, handeling the "family"...

    There are a number of parental settings/console restrictions you can set, especially if your son's account is in your family.

    Many can be managed not only from the console, but from https://account.microsoft.com > Family, including time limits and getting reports on what he does on the console.
