    Hi

    I recently set up an account for my son and purchased an Xbox live membership. I have downloaded his profile onto Xbox but every time he tries to log on the " Parent account not valid" keeps appearing with an option to correct it. when I click on this it
    takes to me a menu and the screen just freezes.

    I thought it was because he is set up as a child account and I have played about with my settings but nothing works. I have just bought him Minecraft as his disc is broken and he is dying to get on and get started.

    they stole my xbox console

    Even if you change your password, your account will still log in. You need to change your password then recover your account on your new console. Then that version of your profile on the old console is not vaild anymore.

    As above,

    Select child
    Sign in as parent
    get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
    Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

    Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

    Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it Parent account not vaild :(

    Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

    Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

    do you know what the parental control account is?

    just follow the link and reset the password.
