Pair button broken

Thanks for your reply. The problem is my adapter's pairing button doesn't work, and I have a new controller to be paired. I wonder if there is a way to bypass the button for pairing, like using software put the adapter into pairing mode.

I don't know what you mean by motherboard, the motherboard I'm talking about is the motherboard of the adapter, and I find the pairing button on motherboard is broken.

Hi ArturasBukas, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I apologize but that will be the only way. You may need to use your controller via wired.

When you connect a wireless controller to an Xbox via a cable, it not only works as a wired controller (i.e. the inputs are sent via the cable), it also syncs the controller to that console, so once that's done you can disconnect the cable and use it wirelessly.

I had the exact same issue with an Xbox One X, so I know for certain this works.

So, yeah, hook it up to your console via the USB cable, then once the power light on the controller is solid, just disconnect the cable.

I do not know if it works with other wireless devices, such as headsets, but it definitely works with controllers.

To the left of the ear piece is a pairing button just like the controllers. You click the xbox pairing button than the pairing button on the ear piece. It is all in one.

Press the pairing button on your controller: On your controller, there is a pairing button (usually on the bottom of the controller, near the Xbox button). Press and hold this button until the LED on your controller starts blinking.

Wait for it to pair: The LED on your controller should stop blinking and turn one of four colors, indicating that the pairing was successful.
