    Paid past due balance but still can't use Xbox Live Services


    I turned on my Xbox today to find my Xbox Live subscription had expired. After looking into this I saw I had around £12 past due(£14.99 in total including Vat or something) and so I went on to pay this amount. Since then the money has been taken out of
    the bank but I am still unable to play online or accept party invites. I have tried reseting the console several times over several hours but still nothing.

    Endedup removing my account reseting the console and signing back in. Problem solved. Thank you for your time.

    Hello Killaman OG,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the Xbox Live membership as you're attempting to play online but you're not able to play or use specific online services.

    There was an active
    service alert     earlier, we
    recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.

    unfortunately past due balances can only be paid using a debit/credit card or mobile operator billing

    you can't use your account balance or prepaid cards or codes to clear a past due balance.

    Thanks for your post! It seems like your account has a past due balance on a subscription, to correct this; check out this article:

    How to pay a past due balance on an Xbox subscription    . Also, if the balance still can not be paid, try using the
    Contact Us portal to speak with an agent about more options of payment.
