Paid full price for FH3 on xbox and later got banned on PC for piracy. Is there any chance for ...

As I said in the title, I have purchased FH3 on the release day, paid £55 for it, played it for around
100 hours and then I have sold my XBOX along with the game. Later I got
nostalgic and pirated the game on PC and have been banned for piracy.

I am honestly not sure if I am still banned. Last time I tried to play was around new year on my friends Xbox and I was still banned.

I am willing to buy the game again if my ban was or will be revoked. I would buy it right now, but I have no idea if I will be eligible for a refund if I am still banned.

I have contacted Xbox Live chat but they redirected me here because the
Xbox ambassador might help me.

Has this happened to anyone before and was their ban revoked?

So just under four months later you should get a game myself and many others paid full price for?

Many others paid discount price for.

Games for gold is for xbox360, it is not for xbox one.

 

Hi, sorry to hear of your issues, but I don't get how you could have pirated the game. How did you purchase the game, digital download or physical disc? If it was digital download, then the game belongs to you, and is part of the Xbox play anywhere program,
which means you would have got the game for free on Windows 10 because you purchased it on the Xbox.

On another note, when you sold your Xbox, if it was a digital game, then you should not have left the game on the console, you should have wiped it clean before you sold it. The game belongs to you, not the new owner of the Xbox.

 

I was being cheap and bought the physical copy because it was £5 cheaper, and didn't own a pc at the time. I have recently bought new xbox and after playing FH4, I got nostalgic and I want to play FH3 but I don't want to start from the beginning as I have
over 100 hours in the game. Last time I checked I was still banned. That was around new year. I am willing to buy the digital version if my ban gets revoked.

 

You just answered your own question. You pirated the game.

Piracy is illegal, it hurts devs as well as fans. There is approximately zero chance of you getting an un-ban for this offense.

If your banned by the game developers your best option is to contact the developers

 

I realise this but at the same time, I supported the devs with £55 on the release date and am willing to support them again by buying the game again.

 

If your account is permanently banned, there is not much you can do. Especially as you admit to piracy. You can check your status and length of ban/suspension at: https://enforcement.xbox.com
