P5R game data loss

Launched P5R but it couldn't work, showed me an error, relaunched a few time and it was the same. Then, i decided to uninstall P5R then reinstall it. (PC gamepass btw) And now, after i reinstalled it, launched it no problem anymore but my game data is gone, 37h gameplay gone. Any way to get back the lost data, i really don't want to play again..

Hello Lim, you did the correct procedures on your PC, it's really weird that it's not showing your progress because all the information is saved to your Microsoft cloud account.

First have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2.

See which version of Windows 10 you have

Updates are often seen as optional

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

After these procedures, follow the others below and see if your progress reappears in case it does not appear means that it has been lost.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

I tried to use the data from

AppData/Local/Packages/SEGAofAmericaInc[Numbers]/SystemAppData/wgs

Many people said that was the save data, but when i tried to replace it with another save from another account, idk why it can't be replaced

But when i tried to log in using my account on my brother pc, my save data was there

So can it be P5R on Xbox App using cloud save only?

Too many games UGH. Cyber Punk, Resident Evil 3, P5R, AC: New Horizons, etc. too many to even think of. Might need to quit my job to play them all.

If the game is played on PC, it may be possible if you mess with WindowsApps Permissions, or find the save directory.

PCGamesWiki states that the Save Directory for the MS Store version of Persona 5 Royal is located in

[table][tr][td]%APPDATA%\SEGA\P5R\Microsoft\[/td][/tr][/table]
The save data should be in there somewhere, but I will reach back if I find anything.

However, it probably will not sync between devices.
