Owning a XBOX since 1 week, 2 times account locked up, why?

Hello,

im owning a xbox since 1 week. and twice on two different days it happened already that i was not able to log into xbox live and it said i had to fix my problem on the microsoft page. turns out microsoft locked up/disabled my account and both times (the last time a few minutes ago) i needed to confirm myself with a sms to get the account enabled again.

does anybody know why this is happening? will i lose my account for good if that continues? im not doing anything that goes against the terms of service of microsoft.. im just playing games on the xbox. it is quite annoying and im extremly hesistant now to put money on that account if the account can just be disabled without any reason.

btw. i contacted support already. they told me they cant tell me the reason but i should just get the sms code and reactivate the account. on my question if i have to do this for no reason every 2 - 3 days i did not get an answer.

If your account keeps getting locked, it might be for security reasoned. I would recommend resetting your password and change your security information. In that case your account will be secure.

However, if by "being locked" you mean suspended, you should check enforcement.xbox.com which is the best source of information regarding your suspension. Xbox Support is unable to provide any further details.

It's a region issue. Since your account region and your physical location do not match, you will have issues downloading region locked content. Why 1 of the games would not be region locked and the other 2 are, I'm not sure.

Does it matter if you cant see your own review?

I cant see Microsoft not showing your review because its a 2 star, ive seen tonnes of 1 and 2 star reviews in my time on Xbox.

Perhaps its a time thing and it takes a week or so for reviews to go up.

Nah this is the first time it's happened since I've used the system video player (I use it 1/2 days a week) and have used it for quite a long time now which is why it confused me as it's never happened before, but thanks for the reply
