Owned games and game pass trouble

I own multiple games and when i got gamepass everything worked fine. When I let the subscription run out due to not wanting it anymore, it states i don't own games that i had before i got the gamepass. It tells me to renew my subscription to gamepass when
trying to play the games i owned before they got put on there. I've contacted Microsoft support and was told to log out then log back in, trouble-shoot, and more but none of it worked. The games i haf bought but weren't playing were in the ready to install
tab but now aren't shown at all. How do i get my games back without having to buy them again? This has happened twice now.

Yeah I read up on it and it happened back in 2018, and it only got solved because of attention on Reddit. I plan on going to PC now since these things don't happen on there. Truly sad dude, I grew up on Xbox and prefer it but when it comes to asking how
to get it solved, got the same responses on the phone as the online bot saying to troubleshoot and what not which didn't help.

This exact thing has happened to me on 4 different occasions. Microsoft shuts their mouth whenever I bring it up to them. Owned game before gamepass -> Comes to gamepass -> Leaves gamepass -> Now I have to buy again.

Completely unacceptable man. I know for a fact I bought Kingdom Two Crowns months before Gamepass was even a thing. Even have the receipt... Now I have to buy again once it left gamepass.

I knew there were going to be issues like this as soon as Xbox went to a live service. Looks like I’m going to playstation next gen. gg xbox.

Do you have any outstanding updates for the game.

Also do you own the games or play on games pass - has your games pass expired.

I often have trouble launching Forza but keep trying and eventually it launches

Trouble with game pass for me is that I own the vast majority of the games anyways. The seller for me, though is that new Microsoft games come to pass on day of release.

But ima boarder, I like to own the games lol.

Though, having access, I do find myself trying games I would never usually engage with, hunter of the wild, fishing games lol

I did uninstall and install again and still it says I own the game pass but it also says " check back a little later we are having trouble getting your stuff '
